Community Building Ministries
God created us all to be persons in communion with other people. In the unity of God, we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to build one another up in love, mercy, compassion, and joy.
"Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony." - Colossians 3:12-14

Junior Youth
Kids grades 4-6 are welcome to join our Junior Youth Group for a fun-filled time! Outings to Sight and Sound, awesome crafts, games, and friendships, and opportunities to spread God's love abound!
Join us for Christmas caroling. Help us provide Christmas gifts for children in our neighborhood. Grow with us as we learn about Freddie, our friend from Africa. Seek God's healing as we work to fight childhood cancer through Alex's Lemonade Stand sales. God is always on the move with us, and loves you, no matter what!
Senior Youth
St. Mark's Senior Youth Group are a treasured part of our congregation's ministry. Youth grades 7-12 gather for service, for fellowship, and to explore how God intersects with and impacts our daily lives.
Pancake breakfasts, Spaghetti dinners, and soup & chili sales help our youth develop a strong commitment for work and service, and help supports our annual mission trips.
Annually, St. Mark's Sr. Youth participate in a mission trip through Youthworks, which partners with local charitable organizations and care facilities to connect youth with members of the local community in shelters, food banks, mentoring relationships, and child day camps.
The 2019 Youth Mission Trip took us to Hamlin, WV! Thank you to the St. Mark's participants, the Youth Works staff, and West Hamlin United Methodist Church for their hospitality.

Music Ministry
Music fills the air at St. Mark's as we use God's gift of song to worship the risen Jesus and share the story of God's love with one another and the world.
A choir, instrument ensemble, or soloist offering accompanies our worship, and we celebrate the talents of members and guests who offer their skills at community gatherings and fellowship events. Come and hear how disciples young and old give glory to God through the powerful witness of music!
Sing to the Lord a new song (Psalm 96)! Offer your musical gifts with our faith community today!
