God created us to be in relationships with other people in the bonds of marriage, and Jesus' first recorded miracle happened when he was the guest at a wedding (John 2:1-12).

A wedding is just the beginning, a footnote in a lifelong commitment to love and cherish one's spouse, with promises made in the presence of friends, family, and God.
