Rite of Confirmation

 

Our Confirmation program is the church's formal instruction about what Scripture and the traditions of the church teach us about God and God's love for us.

 

Sometimes called "Affirmation of Baptism," at Confirmation we celebrate that through this instruction, the Holy Spirit affirms and confirms our faith by renewing our baptismal promises and rededicating ourselves to the mission and ministry of Christ's church.

 

Typically held between grades 7-8, Confirmation is available to all baptized Christians desiring a deeper relationship with God, and a better understanding of our Lutheran heritage.
